Fuzzy Rankin
Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Lenny “Fuzzy” Rankins, an accomplished vocalist and guitarist, had the opportunity as a youth to play and tour with gospel artists Shirley Caesar, Al Green, Five Blind Boys, Mighty Clouds of Joy, Gospel Keynotes, James Cleveland, and many others. At 19, Fuzzy formed his own gospel group, God’s Angels. He eventually expanded his music and organized an R&B group called the 14 Karat Band that toured and performed with R&B artists Tone Tone, Roy Clark, Basic Black, Patty Labelle, and Gerald Levert. Fuzzy moved to California in 1990 where he met blues and jazz performer Fro Brigham. Playing guitar with Fro’s group, he discovered the diversity of the blues. In 1992, Fuzzy and the Bluesmen was formed.

Mister Wilson is a 4-piece rock outfit playing covers from the ‘60s through the 2000s. Band members…

… are all long-time friends, experienced veterans of the tight-knit Bakersfield music scene, and also currently play in other bands, including Turquoise, Kali Sol, Left Coast Groovies, Elevation 406, Itchy Brother, Rearview Mirror, Deep Blue Dream, Pearl – A Janis Joplin Tribute, You Got Lucky – a Tom Petty Tribute, Captain Morgan and the Fish!
Formed in 2021, Mister Wilson went dark during the “Covid years”, then recently reformed and are moving ahead with shows in 2024. Their song choices are centered mostly around high-energy guitar-driven rock bands and include many that are seldom played by other bands.

CHRIS THAYER and the TCB
CHRIS THAYER AND THE TCB (formerly Big Papa and the TCB) was born in the back alleys and seedy after hours parties in juke joints. Their high energy blend of blues, R&B and rock is a guaranteed good time. They have released six full length albums and their newest EP, “Where There’s Smoke, Part 1” is available on all streaming platforms.
They’ve had songs appear in television and films, including their song, "GO BIG PAPA!" being used in the national television ad campaign by Papa John's Pizza CHRIS THAYER AND THE TCB has also garnered several awards. They won "Best Song" and "Best Blues Album" at the 2008 Inland Empire Music Awards for their second CD, 12 GAUGE INSURANCE PLAN. Their first disc, NICE 'N' GREAZY, won three 2007 Inland Empire Music Awards, including “Best Live Band,” “Best Blues Album” and “Best Song." Likewise, they were nominated for Best Swing in the 2008 Orange County Music Awards.
